The Spirit of Music Festival:
1 pm. The early music group, the Parnassian Ensemble, is joined by award-winning violinist, Sara Deborah Timossi, for a programme of 18th-century chamber music from England and mainland Europe, written for the intimate atmosphere of home and court entertainment. There will be works by Handel, Telemann and Purcell.
3 pm. ‘Come and Sing’ Tippett Spirituals. A chance for anyone who can read music to sing the spirituals from A Child of Our Time and then perform them during a concert of the complete work this evening (as above). £10, to include music hire. Please reserve a place with petersfieldchoir@gmail.com.
