“A celebration of Christmas” contains wonderful, uplifting music by Vivaldi, Monteverdi and Poulenc, including carols old and new.
Clive Osgood was one of the six finalists in last year’s BBC Radio 3 Carol Competition. We are delighted that we are giving the first performance of his entry for this year, Sir Christemas, a most exuberant carol.
There are also vocal solos and duets and instrumental works for recorder, flute, clarinet and trumpet.
