The Dutch cellist Hanneke Rouw began playing the cello at the age of eight. Hanneke studied with Martijn Vink at the Luca School of Arts in Leuven, Belgium. She gains inspiration from conversations with internationally-renowned cellists, such as as Steven Isserlis and Anner Bijlsma.

Last season Hanneke was on tour in the Netherlands. She took great pleasure in performing the six cello suites by Bach and the sonatas by Beethoven, Mendelssohn, Chopin, Lalo, Brahms, Saint-Saëns, Rachmaninoff, Fauré, Shostakovich, Debussy and Prokofjev, in venues all over the country. Following the success of this tour, Hanneke Rouw will continue with another tour this year, performing for audiences not only in the Netherlands, but also in the United Kingdom, Italy and Germany.

Sofia Vasheruk was born in Moscow into a family of musicians. With her innate vocation for music, Sofia Vasheruk began studying piano at the Gnessin State Music College at the age of four (Studio of Prof. A. Traub), and then at the Chopin Music College in Moscow (Prof. K. Knorre).

During her studies, Sofia took part in several international competitions, such as The Queen Elisabeth Piano Competition in Brussels, Belgium (semifinalist); Sigsmund Thalberg International Piano Competition in Naples, Italy (3rd Prize); The International Piano Competition in Enschede, the Netherlands (3rd Prize); André Dumortier International Piano Competition in Belgium (Grand Prix and special awards); The Dutch National Piano Competition “Young Pianist Foundation” in Amsterdam, the Netherlands (3rd Prize).
