Holy Trinity Gosport music events

Every third Monday of the month a lunchtime recital is held from 1pm to 1.30pm, which usually comprises great music played on Handel’s historic organ.

Maggie McMurray, Artistic Director, writes: “Two very talented young organists will be delighting us with their playing on Monday 18th June, starting at 1pm at Holy Trinity Church, Gosport. Presenting ‘The Best of Bach and Mendelssohn’, Myles Tyrrell, Senior Organ Scholar at Romsey Abbey, and William Weir, graduate of the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire, will be playing Mendelssohn’s Sonata No 6 and Bach’s Schubler Chorales. This is going to be a very special Monday Recital, hosted by Geoffrey Holroyde and featuring two very special young performers. It’s time to relax, switch off and listen to some superb music.”
