Royal Academy of Music Lunchtimes: The Hill Quartet
The festival’s lunchtime concert series celebrating the rising talents of musicians from the Royal Academy of Music moves to the Sacred Heart Catholic Church. The Hill Quartet is made up of four postgraduate students from the Royal Academy: Bridget O’Donnell (Australia), Katherine Roberts (England), Julia Doukakis (Australia) and Benjamin Michaels (England). Newly formed in September 2018, they successfully auditioned for the Academy’s ASSET Scheme, a chamber music fast track course. They are mentored by Jon Thorne, and have been coached by the Doric String Quartet, the Piatti Quartet and violist, Hartmut Rohde.
