Portsmouth Grammar School: Remembrance Concert

A special concert on the eve of Remembrance commemorating the 75th Anniversary of the D Day landings with a new piece composed by PGS pupils and staff. Also featuring Lux Perpetua by Jonathan Willcocks, On the Banks of Green Willow by Butterworth, concerto movements for Marimba (by Paul Creston), Piano (by Mozart and Shostakovich) and Copland’s Fanfare for the Common Man. Portsmouth Grammar School Chamber Choir, Brass, Chamber Orchestra, Community Choir, Middle School Singers, PGS Junior Choir, Castle Primary School, the London Mozart Players – conducted by Jonathan Willcocks.
