2 mini recitals in the concert : Akvile performing some old favourites and new to us pieces: Bach Prelude and Fugue in C from book 1 of Well tempered clavier; Arabesque Debussy; Prelude by Lithuanian composer followed by Greshwin’s own transcript of ‘The man I love’.
Sam on Clarinet performing works by Saint-Saens, Donizetti & Finzi – a wonderfully varied programme.
Some amazing both virtuoso and very lyrical music by Horowitz (not the famous pianist!) and Rachmaninov, folowed by original ensembles works composed by the euphonium player – Owen, very excited to hear his works again!
