A devotional performance of selections from Victoria’s beautiful Tenebrae Responsories, part of his Liturgy for Holy Week (1585), sung by the choral scholars of Portsmouth Cathedral with students from Cantate. The programme also includes organ music by Herbert Howells and some meditative readings.
