A wonderful opportunity to watch Opera Brava’s ‘The Marriage of Figaro’ by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart in the stunning setting of the Weald & Downland Living Museum.
One wedding and a whole lot of great singing. It has all the ingredients of a classic piece of 18th century literature — passion, lust, betrayal, deception and ultimate forgiveness. Yet the action takes place in just 24 hours and is liberally sprinkled with sparkling, farcical humour.
With a professional cast of top-class performers, lavish costumes and period sets, opera fans and newcomers to the classical entertainment are in for a real treat with this traditional production.
This is an outdoor event so please bring a rug and a picnic, or there will be food and drink available to buy from the Waterside Cafe.
