This year sees the premiere tour of A Christmas Carol the Concert, hosted by the University of Chichester Conservatoire and Great Immediately Productions. In December 2021, the University hosted the premiere performance of this outstanding adaptation of the Charles Dickens story and featured the sensational Spectre Orchestra and guests. The week’s performances sold out almost instantly, and because of the phenomenal success, our American associates and writers of the production are funding and sponsoring this year’s tour, alongside the conservatoire. The tour will take place across the south of England and end in London’s West End and working in conjunction with Great Immediately Productions of New York. We are thrilled to be bringing this timeless classic to the UK during the holiday season, with the Spectre Orchestra and a host of stars performing this incredible concert in four venues with six performances.

The Spectre orchestra is made up of 53 players from the University of Chichester under the direction of James Lelean, and alongside the cast and production team, they have been working closely with New York, and the Composer Bob Christianson on the forthcoming tour. Bob has worked on Broadway for many years and is a frequent visitor to the UK. The university has formed a fantastic link with the US and their team whilst putting together the production and this year sees this grow further, allowing the students to gain an opportunity of working in the industry at the highest level.
