Chantry Quire: “Songs of Love and Devotion”

Once again, the Chantry Quire are giving their summer concert in the beautiful setting of Champs Hill near Pulborough. Entitled, Songs of Love and Devotion, the evening will feature music on the theme of love. It will feature music by Schubert, Brahms, Vaughan Williams, Britten, George Shearing and a new collection of love songs by Charles Paterson.

There will be an opportunity to wander round the attractive gardens from 5 o’clock, have a picnic, then complete the evening in the wonderful acoutic of the music room. Accompanied by pianist James Sherlock, the concert will be directed by Peter Allwood.

Tickets are £20 which includes garden admission, open from 5pm – bring a picnic. Pre-booked only.
