And featuring students of the University of Chichester Baroque Orchestra, directed by Julia Bishop in a performance of Telemann’s Recorder Concerto with soloist Piers Adams.

The concert includes music by J S Bach, Henry Purcell, George Frederick Handel and Antonio Vivaldi.

CMS is delighted to announce an exciting concert in which the Society will be enabling students of the Chichester University Baroque orchestra, directed by Julia Bishop, to take part in a concert with the internationally acclaimed baroque group, Red Priest. The Society is sponsoring a workshop with Red Priest for the students who will then perform the Telemann recorder concerto with the virtuoso soloist Piers Adams as part of this concert.

Chichester Music Society (CMS), formally Funtington Music Group, meets nine times a year at the University of Chichester.
