Havant Light Opera: Whatever happened to Cinderella?

performer_havant-light-opera

Whatever Happened to Cinderella? Last year, Havant Light Opera’s Christmas show involved Cinderella and Prince Charming fighting in a law court in our festive version of Trial by Jury (with apologies to
Gilbert and Sullivan). The outcome was Cinders running off with the Judge and Charming dancing with the Ugly Sisters!! Was it a union made in heaven? Or a spur of the moment mistake?

Well this year’s production catches up with them all 25 years later to see whether fairy tales really do come true in this fanciful musical concoction, with a miscellany of very familiar musical numbers. Anything might happen in this imaginary domain!

The second half of the fun evening will be a medley of Christmas music and carols with a perfect chance for the audience to sing along to some well-known and best-loved festive favourites.

7.30 pm Thursday 30 November to Saturday 2 December. 2.00 pm matinee Saturday 2 December, at The Spring, East Street, Havant PO9 1BS, tickets £10 (under 18s £5), box office 023 9247 2700, or book online via The Spring.
