Petworth Festival: The Yehudi Menuhin School

A musical celebration that showcases the latest cohort of remarkable young musicians produced so consistently by Stoke d’Abernon’s Yehudi Menuhin School.

The legendary violinist and polymath Menuhin founded the school in 1963 to provide an environment and tuition for musically gifted children from all over the world to pursue their love of music, develop their musical potential, and achieve standards of performance on stringed instruments and piano at the highest level. The centrepiece of the concert will be the Brahms Piano Quartet in C Minor with other repertoire to include Frank Bridge’s Three Idylls for String Quartet.
