Jimmy Alderson began playing the piano at the age of 12. He began formal lessons at 16, under Valentina Seferinova at South Downs College (now HSDC), he continued his studies at Southampton University and graduated in 2022.

Jimmy has performed at several concerts and competitions, such as Turner Sims, the Portsmouth Music Festival, and John Ireland Prize.

The title of tonight’s programme is inspired by the “36 Views of Mount Fuji”, a collection of woodblock paintings by the Ukiyo-e artist Katsushika Hokusai. Similar to this compendium, this repertoire is connected by impressions of winds and sunrises, but contrasted in mood and story.

Tickets £15 (£10.00 for Friends of Stansted Park) to include interval refreshments from Stansted Office.
