Celebrate the last night of another fabulous Festival, with the Consort of Twelve and the Portsmouth Baroque Choir performing Handel’s Messiah. Bring a picnic for the dinner interval.

2023 will be the 280th anniversary of Messiah’s London debut. Following on from their highly successful collaboration in last year’s Festival, the Consort of Twelve and Portsmouth Baroque Choir are joining forces again to present a complete performance of Messiah.

Part one will commence at 5pm, after which there will be time to enjoy a (bring your own) picnic dinner on the lawn of St. Paul’s Church. Wine and soft drinks will be available to purchase. Part two will commence at 7pm, with the concert ending by 9pm.

Vocal soloists: Harriet Burns (soprano), Charlotte Badham (mezzo), Tom Robson (tenor) and Jamie Woollard (bass).
