The Petersfield Choir: Fauré’s Requiem

Conductor: Tom Lydon, with the SouthDowns Camerata

The Petersfield Choir is raising money to support Ukraine. Free entry, with retiring collection.

The Petersfield Choir and The Southdowns Camerata return to St Peter’s Church on Saturday with a change to the published programme.

The concert will begin with local violin legend Sara Deborah Timossi playing Bach’s Violin Concerto in E Major, accompanied by the Camerata strings, following which the choir and orchestra will perform Fauré’s Requiem – a much-loved favourite of choirs and audiences alike.

There will be no interval, but the wine bar will be open before the concert starts – a great time to meet your friends before enjoying the music.

The event is part of the Spirit of Music Festival, which ends next weekend with vibrant and virtuosic Eastern European music from the dazzling and inspirational UNICORN FREQUENCY (6:30pm on Sat 21st May) and the FAMILY CONCERT (3pm on Sun 22nd May)
