The Portsmouth Philharmonic is one of the most active orchestras of Portsmouth, England.
It performs predominantly classical and romantic repertoire.
The growing professionalism and ever increasingly demanding repertoire of the Philharmonic have established the orchestra in Portsmouth’s musical sphere and is building a devoted and appreciative audience.
Individual abilities range from amateur to professional.
The orchestra provides local players with an opportunity to develop and pursue their passion in the wider community in a fair and engaging environment.
The orchestra has so far raised nearly £20,000 for over 25 charities.
