Chichester Music Society: The Ensemble Reza Sextet

Our first concert of the season, not to be missed, is to be given by Ensemble Reza on Wednesday February 9th at 7.30: Schumann cello concerto, arranged for cello and string quartet, Brahms sextet No 2 in G, Clara Schumann Piano Quintet arrangement of Romanze no 1 Op 21 arr. Anna Cooper.

The members of the ensemble are a group of friends and musicians with a shared aim of igniting their passion for music in everyone. Having all worked in London orchestras the idea for Ensemble Reza arose out of a passion to create something for their own community, to inspire audiences and bring people of all ages together.  Throughout the pandemic they have worked tirelessly online to continue to promote this vision.

Ensemble Reza became a registered charity in 2014. Charitable activities include a free lunchtime concert series, family concerts, workshops in mainstream and special needs schools, master classes and a community orchestra which includes friends and families of all ages and abilities, coached by musicians from Ensemble Reza.   Ensemble Reza became a BBC Ten Pieces Champion in 2015.
