The Petersfield Chamber Choir

The Petersfield Chamber Choir is a thriving group of accomplished singers, dedicated to performing masterpieces from the Renaissance to the present day.

We rehearse in term time, working in-depth on repertoire for our three or four concerts a year.

Our priority is to give our large audiences the best experience possible, and we work on everything from tuning full resonant chords to achieving a spine-tingling quiet tone for those perfect musical moments.

There is an on-going project to support all our members to produce their best sound in a positive, supportive environment. We often partner with the SouthDowns Camerata and other instrumentalists, as well as performing unaccompanied.

Most of our members are strong sight-readers and we enjoy a high standard of music-making in rehearsals. Entry is by friendly audition, and anyone who is interested in joining is welcome to come to a rehearsal before choosing whether or not to audition.
